What is Radiesse?

Radiesse® is a unique dermal filler composed of Calcium Hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in a gel carrier. Unlike hyaluronic acid fillers that primarily work by attracting water, Radiesse works in two phases:

Immediate Volume Restoration: The gel carrier provides immediate volume upon injection, filling in wrinkles and folds.
Collagen Stimulation: Over time, the CaHA microspheres stimulate your body's fibroblasts to produce new collagen. This new collagen provides a long-term scaffolding for the skin, improving its structure and elasticity. The CaHA is eventually metabolised by the body, leaving behind only your natural collagen.
